The term “values” comes up a lot these days, but I’m pretty dissatisfied with how surface-level the conversations are around it.

“Hire for values train for skill”
“Core Values are the foundation of a strong culture”
“They didn’t align with our values”
You get the gist.

Now we can all agree values are extremely important and deep, but I always want to get behind the buzzwords and figure out what’s going on.
