The award for Best Interior Residential Project goes to Nick Slavik Painting & Restoration. They were given the task of restoring and redecorating a historic home for a very picky restoration contractor - his own home!

Before the family moved in, they stripped all of the popcorn ceilings that were applied in the 1980’s, skimmed all walls and repaired plaster, removed countless yards of wallcoverings, restored historic woodwork, cabinetry and a massive ornate stair system then applied a historic color palette to every interior surface. They also were given the task of making a new addition blend with the historic portion of the home. They made their own stain and finish, too.
